2009 SH Contemporary-Yayoi Kusama草間彌生
Due to multiple reasons, this Year the Shanghai Contemporary is downsized a lot. If you think last year was low, try this one.
I was happy that I got to see Yayoi Kusama’s work showed at the venue.

Yayoi Kusama…well, perhaps my eyes are not discerning enough (or should I say blind enough?) to appreciate the beauty of her pumpins. The optical work on the left in the third picture represents to me a stupid and wasted effort to copy the design of Victor Vasarely.
